2006 installation at Phoenix Brighton bringing high artifice to a ‘natural’ scene, opposing real and fake, illusion and materiality to evoke competing sensations of delight and overabundance. A ‘stream’, sunk into the gallery floor, complete with goldfish, formed the centrepiece of an installation of dystopian beauty.
